Position Overview We are seeking a versatile Operator / Laborer to join our field operations team. This role is hands-on and will involve operating a variety of equipmentincluding mini excavators, skid steers, and other machineryas well as performing general labor duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in changing conditions, is safety-focused, and has a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and other machinery as required.
Perform general labor duties, including digging, hand trenching, and material handling.
Assist with directional boring, hydro excavation, utility trenching, and potholing operations.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Work effectively as part of a crew, following direction from supervisors and foremen.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Follow all company, union, and OSHA safety guidelines.
Adapt to different tasks and job site needs as they arise.
Qualifications
Experience operating construction equipment (mini excavator, skid steer, etc.) preferred.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working in varying weather conditions.
Knowledge of underground construction practices is a plus.
Must be a team player with good communication skills.
Valid drivers license; CDL is a plus.
Willingness to travel to different job sites.

Pay: Competitive and based on experience (union scale applies).
