Our client, a leader in the data center operations industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team.

As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the IT Operations Department, supporting the Infrastructure and Decommissioning Teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Cable Data Center Technician

Location:

Ashburn, VA 20147

Pay Range:

$23/hr. - $26/hr.

What's the Job?

Remove network cables and perform decommissioning tasks in the data center

Run, label, and stage power and networking cables

Follow standard procedures for hardware setup, diagnostics, and shutdowns

Conduct physical audits of data center equipment and assets

Monitor systems and respond to hardware/software performance issues

What's Needed?

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

0-2 years of experience in a technical or IT support role

Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
