This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Ideal candidates will be based near the Dublin, OH, office and open to being hybrid. Candidates must be able to work EST or CST business hours.

What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

Job Summary

The Global Product Manager is responsible for the core product management activities and work-streams to drive the business forward. Based on Marketing strategies and initiatives outlined by the Director, the Product Manager develops marketing content and campaigns for a variety of channels. This job coordinates cross-functionally to ensure execution of strategic business objectives and to help enable sustainable growth of the portfolio, including activities touching commercialization campaigns, supply and demand alignment, quality and regulatory, labeling, product availability, customer support, and voice of customer research.

Responsibilities

Lead marketing operations related to regional and global demand consensus, product lifecycle management, collaboration with cross functional manufacturing and supply chain partners, and supporting brand and profitability positioning.

Identify primary and secondary research necessary to drive product line/portfolio decisions. Help identify market opportunities and create recommendations for managing solutions that meet customer needs

Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders.

Identify and remain current on market trends and portfolio implications. Make recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.

Demonstrate strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Support the development of business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, and strategic options

Influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D, sourcing, manufacturing, enterprise marketing, enterprise contracting, strategic pricing, customer service, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, inventory, regional and channel teams, and others.

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Healthcare or medical product management experience, preferred

Experience with Oracle Agile and SAP, preferred

Ability to travel up to 10-15% domestically

Completes work independently and with general guidance on new projects

May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range:

$79,700 - $113,800

**The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
