Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate. The role involves assembly, inspection, and the use of hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry level position and will be trained in all aspects of the position.
Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $18/hour (with room for growth)
Responsibilities
Assemble sub-components of motors
Pack parts for shipping
Pick items for production
Complete quality checks
Clean and prepare metal parts to eliminate oil used to prevent rust during shipping
Read and follow detailed instructions
Essential Skills
Previous production experience within manufacturing
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
Ability to read a computer screen
Good attendance and punctuality
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Quality or packing experience
Experience in electronic assembly
Tenure with previous positions (6+ months)
Reference verifying ability to be trained

Work Environment
Work in the world's largest manufacturer of automated drives and motors, known for efficiency and reliability. The Buffalo Grove facility is clean, organized, and temperature-controlled. With 150 employees, 100 work in production across various teams. Contractors may rotate tasks, including assembly, packing, and quality checks. The shift is from 7am-3:30pm with optional overtime available. Employees work collaboratively in teams of 8-20 people.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
