*This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. No holidays or weekends. Located in the Cancer Treatment Room at Scripps Clinic Encinitas with travel other sites as needed. *

*What you'll do: *
Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures
EKGs
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
Collecting patient data in person and by phone
Stocking and reorganizing supplies
Ordering supplies
Check in with patients throughout their appointment to ensure they are comfortable for their chemo treatment

Required Certification/Registration:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience working as Medical Assistant
EKG experience
Oncology experience
Assisting with procedures
