Mental Health Observation Specialist

Health Advocates Network is excited to announce an opening for a Mental Health Observation Specialist to join our dedicated team. This is a registry position that offers a competitive pay rate of $16/hour. Key Responsibilities: Monitor patients at risk of self-harm, including those on suicide watch or in therapeutic restraints. Perform visual and video monitoring, promptly reporting findings and observations to licensed nursing staff. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation related to patient monitoring. Document any changes in patient behavior or activity in their charts with clarity and accuracy. Follow directions from medical personnel to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of six months experience in clerical or support roles within a medical setting. Experience with monitoring systems and observing multiple patients concurrently. This position requires a commitment to work 3 shifts of 12 hours each week for at least 13 weeks. We have a current opening for a night shift.
