About This Role
The PeopleSoft Systems Developer Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering development and support for our PeopleSoft products, including Campus Solutions (CS), Human Capital Management (HCM), uAchieve Degree Audits (DARs), and SEVIS processing. Responsibilities:
Develop and support PeopleSoft systems, uAchieve, and SEVIS processing.
Collaborate with team members to devise innovative and effective solutions.
Analyze, update, and troubleshoot existing PeopleSoft systems to fulfill campus requirements.
Modernize legacy systems by replacing outdated SQRs with current technologies.
Prioritize code quality and maintainability through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
Encourage practices that enhance team collaboration and ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
Implement automated testing frameworks to improve solution quality.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Level:
Lead automation initiatives to enhance workflows and operational efficiency.
Take charge of complex challenges, designing scalable and innovative solutions.
Provide mentorship and coaching to encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee student contributions to support team objectives.
Advocate for best practices in testing, deployment, and code quality.
Develop strategies for modernizing legacy systems in line with campus requirements.

Qualifications Required
Developer Specialist:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Senior Developer:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, SQR, and SQL Developer. Familiarity with PeopleSoft PUM images, Unix, AppStream, and security practices. Understanding of PeopleSoft functionalities such as Activity Guides, Fluid, and Approval Workflow Engine (AWE). In-depth knowledge of Oracle CS and HCM processes. Experience with Degree Audit Reporting (uAchieve) programming and SEVIS processing. Prior experience in a higher education environment. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Sponsorship Eligibility:
