Summary:

The main function of a QA test analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. An entry level QA test analyst will typically run scripts given to them; as they progress, the analyst is responsible for the development of scripts. Responsible for tackling mobile quality issues from various streams including data from Carrier, VOC, Supply Chain, Customer Care, B2B and Network Performance.

Mainly deal with issues after mobile products are launched in the market

Responsibilities:

Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Create or maintain databases of known test defects. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Provide technical support for the client carriers' marketing and engineering personnel on issues reported from market Perform stationary and field test of issue reproduction Communicate with internal R&D, carriers, and customers for the market issue reported and follow up Track, collect and analyze network KPI and other quality data in case of major issue is reported Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering or equivalent level of work experience Minimum 1-8 years of experience in the wireless industry preferred in Mobile QA or Mobile testing Familiar with LTE and IMS/VoLTE Protocol Knowledge of Android infrastructure Familiar with Python, C++, Java Write / Review TCs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics is a plus. Ability to perform root cause analysis, decision analysis and establish process mapping is a plus
