Position Overview:

As a Project Manager at Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI), you will lead cross-functional projects that support improvements in mental health care, research, education, and community programs. You will work closely with HMHI leadership, sponsors, clinical teams, and administrative departments to manage projects from planning through completion. Your ability to bring clarity, structure, and alignment to complex initiatives will directly support the institute’s mission and long-term goals.

This position is responsible to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific project which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The incumbent works closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. Coordinates internal resources and vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

(Hybrid: In-office and remote. On-site attendance required based on project and team needs)

Responsibilities

Develops project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility.

Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.

Determines the resources required to complete the project

Develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities required.

Determines objectives and measures to evaluate the project at its completion.

Executes the project according to the project plan.

Monitors the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary.

Ensures the project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality expectations.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of project management.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.

Ability to prepare written and verbal communications for projects.

Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency.

Two years of applicable experience.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

This is a sedentary position in an office setting that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position involves sitting most of the time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
