Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The NBC Sports Marketing Group is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Motion Designer who is excited to bring bold ideas to life across a range of creative projects.
As our Junior Motion Graphics Designer, you'll provide motion design for our broadcast and digital promotional content. Working alongside Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers, and Editors, you'll help develop and implement visual identities and animated storytelling across some of the world's biggest events - including the Olympics, NBA, Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, Premier League, and the #1 show in primetime TV: Sunday Night Football.
You maintain high visual standards and have a strong attention to detail, storytelling, audience, and context. You're excited to take on strategic, complex projects, bring fresh ideas, and challenge conventional thinking.

Responsibilities:
Utilize graphic & motion design skills to produce internal and external communications.
Design and execute graphics for digital, video, events, print and on-air assets.
Initiate and present ideas and thought processes to the team.
Take direction from, and collaborate with creative leadership to offer multiple visual approaches.
Support the development of brands and design systems.
Learn and familiarize yourself with NBCUniversal portfolio brands.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1+ years of relevant work experience.
BA or BFA within graphic design studies, advertising design or a related field.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of Cinema 4D and/or Blender or any 3D tools a plus.
Experience in designing for print a plus.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong design skills, including type layout, motion and timing.
Dependable, self-motivated, works well with others.
Capable of developing motion graphics from concept through delivery for on-air promotion as well as digital media.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Must be available to work on site in Stamford, CT.
Willing to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples -- if available, include a web address when you submit your resume.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
