Job Description
- Program, set-up and operate CNC lathe
- Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner per best practices
- Perform visual inspections on all machined parts to ensure they meet quality expectations
- Maintain all tooling to ensure high-quality output and accuracy
- Identify and report all machine issues, coolant levels, error messages and/or malfunctions
- Collect and upload manufacturing data into computerized management system
- Compliance to all safety procedures and report any issues to management
- Minimum 3-4 years experience
- Proficiency with measuring gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking
- Work well under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Good-natured, cooperative, trainable attitude
- Machine shop experience a plus
