Job description
As a Test Technician II you will be responsible for the functional testing of timing, navigation, and simulation products. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting PCBA issues down to the component level, repairing PCBAs using through hole and surface mount solder techniques, and verifying root cause by performing system level testing. This role is a key member of our production team, working cross-functionally with Product Development, Production Engineering, and Sourcing teams.

•Test and inspects all product families to ensure proper functionality under user-case conditions
•Perform visual and mechanical inspection
•Utilizes knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly process to identify defects in workmanship and/or performance
•Works with engineering to clarify defects and assist in recreating failure and diagnosing to root cause
•Uses sophisticated electronic equipment to collect and evaluate operating data necessary for the successful operation of the unit
Candidate skills & requirements
•2 year technical degree preferred
•Good working knowledge of analog circuits
•Strong knowledge of digital circuits, as well as diagnostic equipment
•Understanding of electronic schematics and wiring diagrams
•STRONG attention to detail with a passion for quality
•Effective communication skills both written and verbal
•IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 preferred
•Ability to manipulate products up to 30 lbs.
•Deep knowledge of power meters, spectrum analyzers, and digital oscilloscopes

$26.00-$31.00/hour
