The Opportunity:
CA CI has an outstanding opportunity for a GIS AI Software Engineer to make a difference in national defense by applying their talents in a fast-paced environment supporting US Special Operations Command. This role is suited for self-starters with advanced experience in planning, developing, and maintaining GIS applications, capable of working independently in a custom development environment. You will be part of a professional IT team supporting operational planning for mission success. The position is based in Fayetteville, NC. Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced AI software engineering techniques for complex analysis, application design, and database modification for GIS Enterprise. Design and implement UI systems, integrate data sources, establish APIs, and build frameworks that support AI/ML functions by integrating models into user applications and platforms. Effective communication skills, including technical writing, are essential. You should be eager to expand your knowledge, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary for troubleshooting, resolving project issues, and understanding user requirements to develop innovative software solutions. You will also recommend and implement new technologies to enhance enterprise GIS products and provide integrated system planning. Qualifications:

Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility 8+ years of experience in UI and application design, or 12+ years in support of AI/ML strategies for the DoD/IC Experience developing custom tools and processing large datasets Expertise working with static and dynamic geospatial data Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++) Strong communication skills and leadership ability Security+ certification or ability to obtain and maintain it in accordance with DODD 8570.01 Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering plus three years of experience in intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems What You Can Expect:
