Note: Candidates without workers' comp experience may be asked for academic transcripts will be requested About Our Client Our client is a respected law firm dedicated to representing injured workers in workers' compensation cases. They pride themselves on providing compassionate, client-first advocacy and achieving excellent results. Job Description Our client is seeking a bright and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience. Workers’ compensation experience is not required, but candidates must have a genuine interest in this area of law. The ideal candidate will be confident, a self-starter, and eager to learn and grow within the practice. Key responsibilities include: Representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims Managing a caseload with a focus on settlements and litigation Drafting motions, petitions, and discovery Attending hearings and depositions before the WCAB Collaborating with medical and vocational experts Communicating effectively with clients and keeping them informed Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in California 0–2 years of legal experience preferred Strong academic record (transcripts required if no workers' comp experience) Interest in pursuing a career in workers' compensation law Workers' comp legal assistant experience is a plus Confident, self-directed, and eager to learn Excellent communication and organizational skills Why This Is a Great Opportunity $90,000 - $120,000 base salary, with $100,000 - $150,000 total earnings potential Bonus structure based on settlements Health, dental, and vision insurance Supportive firm culture and continued learning opportunities 401(k) Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance JPC-280
