Our client, a nationwide leader in civil construction, has an immediate need for an experienced
Senior Estimator / Project Manager , to join their winning team in Atlanta. Our candidate of choice will be responsible for supporting the development of proposals, preparation of bid estimates, schedules, and methods. You will interact with local subcontractors and vendors as part of the project pursuits and have the opportunity to transition to Project Assignments as Sr. Project Engineer where you will be responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities related to project engineering for large alternative delivery projects in the region. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare preliminary cost estimates/budgets/schedules. Prepare accurate quantity surveys/take-offs Solicit bid information from subs/partners/suppliers. Distribute and manage bid plans. Prepare pricing pages for bids. Ensure Bid documents are up to date. Delivery of bids, proposals, and prequalifications to Owners Manage WBE, DBE, SBE, and/or MBE goals during bid process. Lead detailed reviews of subcontractors scope and price prior to award. Maintain excellent relationship with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best pricing, delivery, and quality KEY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field. 7+ years experience in Estimating P.E. license preferred.
