POSITION SUMMARY
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the companys HR Information Systems (HRIS), with a focus on Paycom and Paylocity. This role will work closely with the HR, IT, and Finance departments to streamline processes, enhance the systems functionality, and ensure data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes and technology, specifically within Paycom, and will act as a liaison to support various HR initiatives.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Informational Systems, or a related field preferred. Experience in a Human Resources setting is preferred but not required. Must have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in an HRIS role, with hands-on experience in Paycom and Paylocity strongly preferred. Experience with other HR systems such as Workday, ADP, Oracle, or SAP is also a plus. The role requires proficiency in Paycom and Paylocity HRIS modules, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, a focus on data accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential. Knowledge of HR compliance, including data security and labor laws, will be critical in supporting the organization's HRIS needs effectively.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HRIS System Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of the HRIS system, including maintaining employee records, system configuration, and troubleshooting issues. Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other platforms. Act as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related queries from the HR team and employees.
HRIS Platform Duties: Administer and configure HRIS platforms, including Paycom and Paylocity, across modules such as payroll, benefits administration, time and attendance, onboarding, and performance management, and others. Ensure both systems are optimized for functionality and aligned with business needs. Provide training and support to HR staff and other end-users on Paycom and Paylocity features, tools, and best practices.
Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data integrity within the HRIS by conducting regular audits, identifying discrepancies, and making corrections as necessary. Design and generate reports for management and HR leadership on key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, timekeeping, etc.). Assist in creating and maintaining HR analytics and dashboards.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and improved efficiency in HR operations through the HRIS system. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize and enhance workflows, ensuring alignment with business processes and regulatory requirements.
Compliance & Security: Ensure the HRIS system complies with data privacy regulations and other relevant labor laws. Maintain security protocols and regularly review user permissions and access controls.
End-User Training & Support: Provide training to HR staff and other users on system functionalities, including Paycom and Paylocity Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues in a timely manner, escalating to technical support as needed
