Randstad is actively searching for a meticulous and driven Quality Assurance Inspector II to join our client, a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer situated in Hauppauge, NY. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for candidates possessing hands-on experience in in-process quality assurance, sampling, and GMP compliance in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. First Work Hours:
8 AM - 4 PM Education:
High School Key Responsibilities: Conduct real-time in-process quality checks during manufacturing and packaging, following batch manufacturing records and SOPs. Verify raw materials during dispensing and approve printed packaging materials before issuance. Perform and document blend uniformity (BU) sampling; ensure cleanliness of tools and sampling equipment. Accurately collect validation, in-process, and finished product samples in accordance with established protocols. Ensure line clearance and proper cleaning of manufacturing and packaging equipment before and after production runs. Review production documentation, equipment logbooks, and calibration records to confirm compliance. Input transactions into SAP (ERP system) for materials, samples, and inventory traceability. Assist with investigations of Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results, as well as other quality issues. Conduct daily GMP compliance rounds in production areas; report discrepancies to QA Management. Verify proper isolation and documentation of any non-conforming materials. Support the completion of logbooks, quality forms, and documentation to ensure compliance. Assist with the review of engineering records, including temperature, humidity data, and calibration reports. Adhere to all company policies, cGMP, SOPs, and applicable FDA regulations. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role. Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control.
