Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of avionics systems, components, and software. This position is based at NAVAIR Station Pax River in St. Mary's County, MD, and requires a daily on-site presence. Clearance:

An Interim ACTIVE Secret Clearance is mandatory for this role. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required for clearance acquisition. Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in software engineering and development management. Experience with software requirements, design, process management, open architecture principles, integration, and testing. Capability to develop software system designs and testing plans, including interoperability. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with software program leaders, engineers/developers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Naval Air Station Patuxent River headquarters, contractor personnel, and other government entities involved in the program. Review data, reports, studies, designs, and technical documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Conduct technical reviews to assess the acceptability of changes to contracted services or equipment. Evaluate the usability of items that do not meet contract specifications. Oversee technical direction, management, and coordination of various efforts. Provide advice on technical matters. Monitor research, analysis, design, development, testing, and manufacturing operations. Facilitate real-time access to subject matter experts for problem assessment and solutions. Offer technical oversight on Program Increment (PI) priority workloads. Review and provide input on proposed changes to processes and software development plans. Contribute as a member of an integrated team. Apply techniques such as risk management, configuration management, and earned value management to support various technical programs/projects. Preferred Skills and Experience: Familiarity with military avionics systems, components, and software design attributes. Understanding of weapon system and avionics systems engineering procedures and tools. Knowledge of DoD software acquisition processes. Possession of DAWIA certifications is a plus. Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Research preferred). Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skills. The projected annual range for this position is $79,000 - $120,000 (USD). Benefits:
