We currently have a great opportunity for a

Unit Head of Chassis Integration, Front, Cab and Electric

on our TRATON USA R&D Team.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all Local resources & capabilities within scope (skill-set, process , performance or other joint scope definition) Provide guidance and support to Unit members, helping them to achieve their full potential and improve their performance. Oversee the development and implementation of design guidelines to ensure quality in the installation processes. Implement and promote lean agile methodologies within the Unit to improve efficiency, flexibility, and responsiveness. Content creation & technical feasibility of content in Domain roadmap (midterm/ long-term) Supports Global Section Head to plan resources & capacity within scope (skillset, process, component/ other scope definition) Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science At least 10 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience At least 4 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science At least 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience At least 4 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities OR

PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science At least 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience At least 4 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Leadership experience within an engineering environment Expertise in project management Experience in development of commercial or passenger vehicle preferable Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Understanding of engineering processes and downstream impacts Strong communication skills and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds) Detail oriented, reliable, pro-active and self-motivated Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
