***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for all hospital departments, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Manage the hospital budget and financial resources, ensuring fiscal responsibility. Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient care quality. Serve as a liaison between the hospital board, medical staff, and other stakeholders. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare administration.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role. Proven track record of success in managing complex healthcare operations. Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions. Passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English. Must be a US citizen or be a permanent resident residing in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical Requirements And Work Conditions
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
