Job DetailsOverview: Our client is seeking a motivated Tool and Model Maker to support their manufacturing and development of precision miniature fluid control components. This role involves working on a mix of short- and long-term projects, including prototype machining, tooling repair, and new product setup. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in process and design improvements. Responsibilities: Interpret complex blueprints and drawings for various machining and assembly tasks. Perform advanced CNC and manual machining with precise setups and tight tolerances, including G/M code programming. Build jigs, fixtures, molds, dies, prototypes, and cutting tools. Operate a variety of machines (CNC/manual lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, jig bores, etc.) Collaborate with engineering on part design, clarification, and rework. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification. Skilled in using computerized machine controls, measurement tools, and hand tools.
