Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery travel position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience, night shifts, and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.Job Details•Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital with 16 L&D beds and a 6-bed triage area,•Patient population includes neonates, infants, and adults,•Typical cases include labor (vaginal), C-sections, multiple births, post-partum hemorrhage, pregnancy induced hypertension, and D&C procedures,•Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:1-2 with an average daily census of 15,•Uses Epic EMR (experience required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication,•Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00),•Floating within the facility required,•Call is required; two call shifts per 6 weeks for AM and PM shifts,•A minimum of three weekend shifts required per contract,Job Requirements•Active GA or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,•Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience,•Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP; AWHONN Intermediate preferred,•Must provide two supervisory references from managers or higher,•Experience with Epic EMR required,•First-time travelers not accepted,•Previous permanent staff must have been away from Piedmont facilities for at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler,Additional Information•Will work as part of a motivated, team-based L&D unit,•Expected to work major holidays falling during assignment; specific holiday coverage rules apply,•No blocked scheduling permitted,•Scrubs are provided by the facility,•Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed; no RTO allowed during the first week or for Spring Break,•Full compliance with onboarding required for timely start; ability to submit documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing is essential,•Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate,•Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking if previously deemed unable to return,),•hash,:•12110191546075199208,
