This position involves providing respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions across a range of settings, with a focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a physician.- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment including ventilators, nebulizers, and other related devices.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.- Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory health, disease management, and equipment usage.- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies. Requirements: - Valid RRT license in good standing (PAN).- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience in both day and night shift operations and a willingness to adapt to variable schedules.- Current certifications in BLS, and any additional certifications as needed. Facility Information: - Shift: 12 hours, variable day/night shifts.- Expected Hours: 36 per week.- Parking: Free on-site parking.- Dress Code: Scrubs and stethoscope lab coat required.
