Location: MVHS – Utica, NY
Shift: 3x12s | Days | 12-Hour Shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks (90 days)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Radius Rule: Must live 75+ miles from facility

Position Overview:
MVHS is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic ICU RN for a high-acuity unit specializing in post-cardiovascular surgical care. This role is ideal for an RN confident in managing fresh open-heart patients , cardiogenic shock, and complex CV surgical cases.

Unit Details:

• Unit: CTICU
• Beds: 6
• Common Diagnoses: Post-CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent CTICU experience
• Experience with fresh open-heart patients REQUIRED
• Certifications Required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• EPIC experience required
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
