Wellhart is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Virginia. This 48-day assignment begins on 09/01/2025, with a flexible schedule of three 8-hour shifts per week, preferably Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing adult outpatient care, pediatric care including newborns, and performing minor procedures such as suturing and incision & drainage. The role involves working in a 6-exam room setting, with possible virtual support from other internal medicine physicians. The physician will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers, responding to in-house codes, or providing ED backup. This opportunity offers a chance for extension and requires a Virginia medical license.
