RESPONSIBILITIES: •Read, interpret, and work from complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and written specification listings •Select proper punches and dies to complete the product in accordance to forming program •Load programs, set up correct tooling, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment •Set up, operate, and manage press brake machines to crimp, notch, bend, and/or straighten metal material; as specified by blueprints, drawings, templates •Maintaining a clean and safe working environment •Establish and operate sheet metal equipment under minimal supervision to fabricate as well as form products as per engineering drawings and parameters. •Inspect and maintain press brake equipment for conformance with safety requirements. •Prioritize production runs to assure customer orders are on time, while maximizing machine efficiency •Inspects all manufactured parts following work in process inspection methods •Establish brake press parameters and work instructions. •Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances QUALIFICATIONS: •High School diploma or equivalent •Work Experience in like field preferred but will train the right candidate •Ability to inspect flat laser cut parts with precision inspection equipment •Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements •Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and equipment •Read and follow written procedure •Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely •Safety conscious behavior. * Additional Laser or Welding skills a plus Newer Fabrication Job shop with 12 employees and growing -Great ground floor opportunity
