Join our well-established surgicalist team on a per diem basis, providing trauma and acute care services in a collaborative, physician-led group. This is an ideal opportunity for a board-certified General Surgeon seeking flexible scheduling and strong team support. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality surgical care within a trauma and acute care program Collaborate with residents, medical students, and a full-time PA/NP team Participate in 1–3 shifts per month (even split of day and night shifts) Maintain clear communication and contribute to patient satisfaction Work within a collegial, clinically focused environment Requirements: Board Certification in General Surgery Active Michigan medical license Prior experience in an ACS-verified trauma program Excellent communication and teamwork skills Located about 30 miles north of Detroit, Pontiac is a historic city in Oakland County, part of the Detroit metropolitan area.
