Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Newport, OR 97365 (Oregon Coast healthcare jobs) Unit: Medical Surgical Adult Unit Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date: August 7, 2025 End Date: November 6, 2025 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days (06:45 - 19:15), rotating weekends Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $1860-$2000 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required at time of application) Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a U.S. hospital or healthcare setting Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and post-surgical patients in a medical-surgical unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Maintain the highest standards of professional nursing practice, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations Join our dedicated healthcare team in Newport, Oregon, and enjoy the unique benefits of travel nursing jobs on the beautiful Oregon Coast.
