Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Medicine in Altoona, PA

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Emergency Medicine PA Locum (Part-time/Locals Only) to work coverage in Altoona & Everett, Pennsylvania. Starting, as soon as credentialed. The role of Emergency Medicine PA: Setting: Outpatient/Clinic Availability (all locations): Primarily Night Coverage Only (7p-7a). 4-6 shifts per month. Schedule: M-S | 7a-7p; 9a-9p; 7p-7a | Anticipated start: 11/3/2025 Must: perform – triage/tech responsibilities. EMR: Cerner Census: Variety of ED patients mixed with lower acuity. 80% AD, 20% PEDS Experience: Emergency Department. (Altoona) – multi-site credentialing: 2-locations (Altoona Bedford – Stroke Certified Facilities) Requirements of Emergency Medicine PA Locum (both locations): Pennsylvania Medical License (in-hand) Board Certified – Emergency Medicine PA Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; CPR; PALS (must be AHA); Stroke Certified, CMEs, (NIHSS) Mandatory: Annual EMTALA education – from ED Admin.
