Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Job Description & Requirements

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years L&D experience
- Some Postpartum experience required
- Comfortable with high-risk OB patients
- Must be able to circulate C-sections
- Not accepted: Critical Access-only experience
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Preferred: Experience in similar-sized L&D/PP departments, recent Epic experience
Unit Details:
- L&D Beds: 11 (also used as triage rooms as needed)
- OR Suites: 2 C-Section suites on the floor
- PACU Bays: 2 Recovery bays on the floor
- Triage Beds: Typically 2 designated rooms; 4–5 triage patients/day who go home
- Postpartum Beds: 17
- Birth Volume:
- 5–6 deliveries/day
- 150–180 deliveries/month
- NICU Level: Level III (supports 30+ week babies; stabilizes and ships out under 30 weeks)
Staffing Schedule:
- Shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM / 7 PM – 7 AM
- Weekend Requirement:
- Days: Saturday & Sunday
- Nights: Friday & Saturday
- Holiday Rotation: Yes
- Scheduling: 6-week schedules, block scheduling considered but not guaranteed
- Shift Limit: Max 5 consecutive shifts per policy
- Orientation: 3 days with preceptor (L&D + PP/MB)
Floating & On-Call:
- Float To: L&D and PP/MB are primary; may float for sitter shifts throughout hospital
- Call-Offs: May be called off based on census
- Floating Priority: Travelers are first to float
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring OR Certified in Fetal Monitoring (NCC)
