Senior Electrical Engineer – Energy & Power SolutionsnLocation Options: Ft. Worth, TX | Greenville, SC | Denver, CO | Philadelphia, PA | Cary, NC | Chicago, ILnType: Temp-to-Perm | Hybrid (minimum 2 days/week onsite when not traveling)nTravel: Up to 50% (varies by project)nSalary Range: $130,000 – $200,000 DOEnOverview:nAn established engineering organization is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team to support the growing demand for sustainable, reliable, and resilient energy infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in utility and power projects to take a lead role in delivering engineering design, advisory services, and business development initiatives for complex energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior staff, manage engineering teams, and collaborate directly with clients to develop and execute innovative energy solutions.nResponsibilities:nnLead electrical engineering teams in delivering design solutions and advisory services for utility, power generation, renewable energy, and energy storage projects.nReview client needs, develop conceptual plans, and carry projects through detailed design to implementation.nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.nEngage in business development, including client engagement, proposal development, and strategic pursuits.nManage project execution planning, scope development, and man-hour estimates.nEnsure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.nContribute to strategy formation, innovation, and expansion of energy transition and decarbonization portfolios.nCollaborate across disciplines to integrate emerging technologies and sustainability solutions.nnRequired Qualifications:nnBachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related discipline.n10+ years of electrical engineering design and/or consulting experience, with a strong background in utility/power projects.nActive Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state and ability to obtain licensure in other states as needed.nDemonstrated success in client engagement, relationship building, and winning work.nExperience in business growth strategy and exploration of new project opportunities.nStrong project management skills, including proposal development and execution planning.nExcellent communication and technical writing skills.nAbility to work hybrid in one of the listed office locations and travel as needed.nnPreferred/Highly Valued Experience:nnPower distribution systems and microgrids.nPower generation projects exceeding 10MW capacity.nHigh-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) substation projects.nRenewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal).nEnergy storage systems.nPower system modeling using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar software.nProtection and control, SCADA, or power system automation.nCampus utility master planning and decarbonization strategies.nCogeneration and combined heat and power systems.nThermal utility plants and distribution systems.nnWhy Join:nnCareer growth built into the mission, with clear leadership and technical advancement paths.nAccess to a global network of engineering expertise and innovation resources.nOpportunities to work on diverse, high-impact energy projects across the U.S.nCommitment to continuous learning, certifications, and professional development.nInclusive workplace culture where every voice is valued.nnAdditional Details:nnPE License is required.nCandidates on VISAs will not be considered.
