Job Description:

n

Our design engineers work as part of a team to support: product designs, manufacturing methods, and product improvements. This requires performing engineering calculations, creation and review of part models and drawings, and the of technical documentation. They also provide hands-on technical support for the manufacture, assembly, and testing of prototype equipment on-site as well as interfacing with suppliers, sales engineers, and project/product managers to develop new innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take products from concept to production with a practical understanding of manufacturing and solid engineering fundamentals.
  • n
  • Provide innovative solutions to product design and development, and DFM.
  • n
  • Creation and review of bills of materials, manuals, and plant fabrication drawings.
  • n
  • Complete and review mechanical design and engineering calculations.
  • n
  • Machine design materials selection, stress analysis, and structural optimization.
  • n

Qualifications:

Required:

    n
  • 3D CAD design experience (Autodesk Inventor )
  • n
  • Experience with industrial refrigeration
  • n
nn

  • Proven manufacturing background.
  • n
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • n
  • Experience in design for assembly and design for manufacturability.
  • n
  • Experience with metal fabrication and assembly processes.
  • n
  • Ability to successfully manage both up and down within the organization.
  • n

Education:

n
    n
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5+ years related experience
  • n
nn
