HiFyve is hiring a Field Service Technician / Engineer in the manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!

Salary: $31$41/hr

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

n
• Perform high-quality, efficient, and timely repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial laser machines.
n
• Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.
n
• Train and instruct customers on service, repair, and proper operation of laser systems.
n
• Troubleshoot issues using software and electrical tools to repair laser systems and provide permanent solutions.
n
• Utilize mechanical measurement and calibration tools for laser system alignments and validation.
n
• Process optical alignments for power, beam quality, and optical-to-mechanical alignment.
n
• Complete all required tasks in service software and timecard systems daily.
n
• Travel to customer sites throughout the continental United States (5075% travel).
n

Education Requirements

n
• Formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial or automated machinery ().
n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

n
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing A/C and D/C electrical systems.
n
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
n
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
n
• Good driving record and valid drivers license (vehicle insurability required).
n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for client interactions.
n
• Ability to document evaluations, status updates, and action plans thoroughly.
