Job Description
The IT function is increasing its capabilities and therefore is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you are responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring they are secure, healthy, efficient, and scalable. You will also maintain and support our physical and virtual network infrastructure. You will report to the Internal IT Infrastructure Manager, part of the IT team whose mission is to provide an effective, efficient, reliable, and appropriate infrastructure to its users that is also maintainable. This job is location-independent, we are open to hiring in any Unit4 location. What you will do:
Design and deploy Azure Wintel & AD solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Manage IaaS and PaaS cloud resources in Microsoft Azure using the Systems Management platform and Security Management Tools. Manage and maintain the (Azure) Active Directory / Entra ID infrastructure, including domains, forest, and replication. Manage Group Policies by creating, managing, and enforcing GPOs for Windows systems. Manage DNS, DHCP, and certificate services. Develop and maintain standards based on leading practices for monitoring systems' operational and performance statistics. Develop and maintain standards and processes for patch/update deployments. Collaborate with global teams to optimize MS components for performance and security. Configure and install physical and virtual network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless networks, including upgrades, security configurations, and patches. Qualifications

ICT-related Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience with Azure services/technologies (virtual machines, blob, queues, tables, Azure Active Directory, Virtual networks, etc.) and deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build, and deployment in private and Azure cloud, including Azure networking and storage. Familiarity with VMware and virtualization is a plus. 3-5+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering, automation, and management. Experience automating Windows systems with PowerShell or related methods. Experience supporting Windows systems in multi-platform environments (OSX, Linux, iOS, Android). Effective communication skills and fluency in English (verbal and written). Flexibility for work outside regular hours and weekend on-call support. Microsoft Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-800 are preferred. Additional Information
