The *Patient Service Representative (PSR)* serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is responsible for front-desk operations including check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The PSR plays a vital part in supporting clinical and administrative staff by maintaining smooth patient flow and accurate information handling.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner, both in person and by phone
* Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect co-payments, and issue receipts
* Schedule appointments and update patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
* Accurately verify and enter patient demographic and insurance information
* Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct messages to appropriate staff
* Process and track insurance referrals and authorizations
* Assist with patient/provider correspondence and documentation
* Educate patients on office policies, procedures, and available services
* Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all confidentiality regulations

Pay: $23.06 - $27.77 per hour
