Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs Location: 5 E 98th St New York NY 10029 Shift: 8am - 4pm OB/GYN experience needed Job Summary: Perform ultrasound exams, assist the Radiologist, and maintain ultrasound equipment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound tests. Operate and adjust ultrasound machines safely. Clean, set up, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment. Make sure supplies are stocked. Help train new ultrasound staff. Save and share ultrasound images with doctors. Handle phone calls, schedule exams, and arrange transportation if needed. Perform other related tasks. Skills & Qualifications: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. At least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computers. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and attention to detail. Education: Graduate of a 2-year ultrasound program with hands-on training.
