We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced setting, and is committed to excellence in fetal and maternal care.Salary: $52.68 - $57.48 per hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform detailed fetal ultrasound examinations to assess fetal development and health. Manage ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in specialized procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS). Collaborate with obstetricians and perinatologists to interpret sonographic data and communicate findings effectively. Provide pre- and post-diagnostic counseling, and support to patients during sonographic examinations. Implement patient management plans in consultation with healthcare practitioners based on sonographic findings.Minimum Position Qualifications: Must be a registered RDMS in OB/GYN. Must have NT (Nuchal Translucency) and NB (Nasal Bone) Certification. At least 2 years' experience in a related sonography position. Strong knowledge and experience in high-risk obstetrics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse patient populations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with amniocentesis and CVS procedures. Fetal Echocardiography certification. Demonstrated patient-centered approach with an emphasis on providing empathetic and knowledgeable care. Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary team settings. Prior experience in a clinic or hospital environment specialized in maternal-fetal medicine.Skills: Expert handling and operation of ultrasonographic equipment. Detailed anatomical and physiological knowledge of fetal and maternal bodies. Solid critical thinking abilities to analyze sonographs and make informed clinical suggestions. Adept at managing patient data and maintaining accurate medical records.
