Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Brighton, MA. This role involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Radiology Technologist will ensure the highest quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of radiographic procedures to provide diagnostic information.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and number of films based on patient condition and exam requirements.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring accuracy and minimizing repeat films.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and maintain high-quality imaging under the supervision of the Technical Manager.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols, including collimation, shielding, and proper film identification.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent communication with patients and medical staff.
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and other tasks to support effective patient care.
- Perform daily processor/film sensitometry checks as directed.
- Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and report transcription.
- Education:
- Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred .
- Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience:
- Level of knowledge associated with completing a Radiologic Technology program .
- Level of knowledge associated with completing a Radiologic Technology program .
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Certification & Licensure:
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license (or temporary license).
- ARRT certification (or eligibility, with one year to obtain).
- BLS certification required .
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license (or temporary license).
