X-Ray Tech
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable X-Ray Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols. The X-Ray Tech will play a key role in capturing high-quality images that assist in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations using fixed and portable radiographic equipment.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper operation of equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Verify patient identity and obtain informed consent when required.
- Maintain and prepare imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the radiology information system (RIS).
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- State licensure as applicable.
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Proficiency with digital radiography and PACS systems.
- Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills.
