We're seeking an experienced PA to support a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery team in Las Vegas, NV . This locum opportunity offers $180/hr , full travel and lodging coverage, and the chance to assist in complex, life-saving procedures.
Position Overview:

Pay Rate: $180/hr (plus competitive call and holiday premiums)

Duration: 2-3 month blocks preferred

Days/Month: 15-20

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

EMR: Cerner
Role Responsibilities:
-
First assist in complex CVT surgeries (CABG, valve replacements, etc.)
-
Manage pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care for CVT patients
-
Rotate 24-hour first call coverage (shared among two APPs)
-
Round on inpatients and coordinate interdisciplinary care
-
Consult in ER for CVT-related cases
-
Order and interpret labs, prescribe meds, and collaborate across teams
-
Work closely with physicians and leadership; additional duties as assigned

Must-Haves:

Board Certified NP
-
NV license or Compact License
-
Active BLS, ACLS, DEA
-
CVT surgical experience required - must first assist
