This 13-week assignment includes night shifts in a high-acuity unit. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, experience with advanced cardiovascular devices, and is confident performing procedures such as central line and dialysis catheter insertions. Job Details Location: Bowling Green, KY Setting: Hospital Intensive Care Unit Discipline: Registered Nurse ICU Shift: 3x12s | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM | 36 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension Documentation: Meditech Responsibilities Provide direct care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU Monitor and manage advanced equipment including: Impella GE monitors Temporary pacemakers EKOS IABP Artic Sun Hemodynamic monitoring systems Perform central line and dialysis catheter insertions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Accurately document patient data and respond to rapid changes in condition Qualifications Required: Active Kentucky or compact state RN license BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience Experience with advanced cardiovascular devices and invasive procedures Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases independently Why Travel with Sunbelt?
