nShort Description
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.nOverview
nThe Viner ICU is a 30-bed intensive care unit. The ICU specializes in the care of adult, acutely ill patients in an academic setting. The ICU offers state of the art care with innovative technology and lifesaving interventions. The highly specialized multidisciplinary team is committed to providing expert care to the sickest of the sick in the region. Driven by quality and patient centered care the team delivers advanced critical care for patients needing; ECMO, cardiac surgery, interventional pulmonary care, and other lifesaving treatments. Over the last few years, the ICU received, “The Family Centered Care Innovation Award” and the “2022 ICU Hero’s Award” from the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).

- Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/ technician program n
- Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited Nursing Program n
