- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. n
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. n
- Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. n
- Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. n
- Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. n
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments. n
- Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. n
- Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. n
- Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. n
- Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. n
Qualifications
nMinimum Qualifications:
n- n
- Graduate of medical assisting program n
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association n
- High school diploma or equivalent n
