This position is 1st shift 5a-1:30p

This position is responsible for supporting the production department by overseeing and coordinating the activities of the raw materials warehouse(s) to ensure that raw materials, finished products, etc. are maintained in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following : · Support the Production Supervisor to ensure daily production objectives are achieved according to schedule · Receiving / retrieving raw materials and finished goods while allocating to warehouse locations · Ensure the raw material inventory is rotated and used on a first in, first out basis · Maintained raw material warehouses in a safe, clean, and organized manner at all time · Support the production and shipping department by means of moving raw materials and finished goods between the warehouses · Working with the Production Supervisor to coordinate daily schedule changes · Making sure all logs (room logs, and equipment logs) are filled out appropriately both written and via ERP input. · Alerting the Production Supervisor of inventory and finished goods discrepancies and assisting with resolution implementation · Reporting all safety, GMP or other employee violations to the Production Supervisor · Support warehouses with daily Warehouse procedures. · Perform daily and routine commercial truck safety checks (damage, ware-n-tare, fuel levels, additive levels, etc.) · Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor. · Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach when managing challenging situations · Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff · Support in the warehouse and weighing areas when necessary · Performs other duties as assigned

Work requirements and Skills · Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position · 2 years’ experience preferred but not required · Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties · Requires excellent communication and people-skills · Must have basic computer skills including MS Office applications: Word and Excel · Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary · Must be able to operate a hand-truck, pallet jack, stacker truck, reach truck, commercial 2 axle box truck · Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary · Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment · Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step and climb (occasionally during the duration of the shift)
