Daytime Warehouse Associate
to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by handling tasks such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, a strong team player, and committed to providing excellent service to all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing products in the warehouse. Ensure accurate stock counts and proper labeling for easy identification. Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are prepared for shipment in accordance with customer requirements. Shipping and Receiving:
Load and unload delivery trucks, check for accuracy, and verify inventory against packing lists or orders. Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety procedures, organizing products, and disposing of unused materials appropriately. Material Handling:
Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods within the warehouse as needed. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to meet daily operational goals and timelines. Quality Control:
Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. Safety Compliance:
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation:
Accurately complete any required paperwork and electronic records related to inventory, shipping, and receiving. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly. Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Benefits:
