1 year contract to hire opportunity with Solar Turbines in San Diego! Kearny Mesa location 92123. Required Skills & Experience: -Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering -5-7 years of professional experience in electrical design work and/or project management -Experience with medium voltage design work (~12 KV) Nice to Have Skills & Experience: -Experience installing infrastructure within a facility Job Description: Solar Turbines is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to support various facilities for maintenance and upgrade projects. • Develop and update electrical system designs using AutoCAD and Revit. • Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation for facility systems (lighting, power distribution, backup systems, etc.). • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA). • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess electrical needs and propose design solutions. Project Management (50%) • Lead and manage facilities-related electrical projects from concept through completion. • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans. • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution. • Prepare and manage RFx events, evaluate bids, and oversee contractor selection. • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. • Track and report on project budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Compensation: Must be W2 $65-$80 per hour Seniority level
