Job Description CEO for our three shops in the United States (Atlanta, College Park; California, Van Nuys; Wisconsin, Milwaukee), overseeing all aspects of a legal entity with around 260 employees. Reports to the EVP Customer Support and Services.
This role involves managing daily operations, aligning with strategic goals, leading teams in supply chain, program, quality, manufacturing, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility for Production and Operations:
Oversee production activities, ensure efficiency, quality, profitability, meet targets, and respect deadlines.
Team and Human Resources Management:
Manage personnel, recruitment, training, motivation, performance, safety, and health regulations.
Quality and Compliance:
Implement quality management systems, ensure products meet standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environment, and labor laws.
Risk and Safety Management:
Implement safety procedures, manage risks, plan crisis responses.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other methods to improve processes.
Local Strategic Planning:
Translate corporate strategy into operational goals for the site.
Complementary Responsibilities
Performance Management:
Monitor KPIs like productivity, quality, costs; implement corrective actions.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets, optimize costs, ensure profitability, analyze financial results.
Business Development:
Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, identify new opportunities.
Stakeholder Relations:
Maintain relations with suppliers, customers, shareholders, authorities.
Job Requirements
Understanding of MRO operations, scheduling, maintenance, quality systems.
Creativity, customer focus, strong communication in English.
Leadership experience, motivation, organization skills.
Knowledge of regulations relevant to aircraft maintenance.
Experience in managing operations, quality, safety, production.
Excellent communication, report writing, and cultural adaptability.
7+ years progressive management in manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Job Specifics Regular travel across all Safran Aerosystems Services Americas plants: Peachtree, College Park, Van Nuys, Milwaukee.
