Job Summary: The Aircraft Mechanic will perform comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on CH/MH-53E aircraft. This includes hydraulic systems, pneudraulic systems, and ground support equipment. The role ensures compliance with technical manuals, Navy regulations, and safety procedures. The candidate will support flight operations, maintain accurate documentation via OOMA, and guide junior team members in daily maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections on CH/MH-53E aircraft systems Operate aircraft towing equipment and support launch/recovery operations Maintain and overhaul hydraulic, pneudraulic, fuel, oil, and sub-systems Execute corrosion control, preservation, and modification work Service and inspect ground support equipment, documenting maintenance Maintain RESET Team Leader Stations and aircraft logbooks Guide and assign daily tasks to subordinate personnel Utilize OOMA for maintenance tracking and documentation Comply with hazardous material handling, OSHA, and company safety standards Use approved methods, blueprints, schematics, and tech publications Conduct Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs) as needed Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated and PMCS-compliant Report policy violations and update critical aircraft parts lists Document individual work hours in the timekeeping system daily Required Experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience on CH/MH-53E aircraft Completion of Aviation Structural Mechanic Core & Organizational Level training CH53E Airframes Organizational Maintenance High School Diploma or GED Must obtain and maintain Industrial Security Clearance and CAC access Nice-to-Have Experience:

Leadership or supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance Previous RESET or depot-level aircraft maintenance experience Experience with MOCs or condition-based maintenance protocols Required Skills:

CH/MH-53E maintenance proficiency OOMA (Optimized Naval Aviation Logistics Management Information System) Aircraft hydraulic/pneudraulic systems expertise Preferred Skills:

Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation Ground Support Equipment servicing Aviation tools and calibration knowledge Technical documentation and reporting Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS) Additional Skills:
