LHH is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Paralegal/Legal Assistant for a full-time opportunity with a respected law firm in Nashville, TN. This is an excellent role for a legal professional with 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense who is looking to grow in a collaborative and dynamic legal environment.
Responsibilities: Draft and prepare legal documents including discovery, pleadings, and correspondence
Coordinate case management and maintain case files
Assist attorneys in trial preparation and calendaring deadlines
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties as needed
Manage billing and timekeeping in accordance with firm policies
Qualifications: 3–5 years of insurance defense experience required
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing rules (state and federal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
