Volt is immediately hiring RF Electronics Technician/Electronics Calibration Technician in State College, PA 16803
As a RF Electronics Technician/Electronics Calibration Technician, you will:
Test equipment might go to other campuses for items that cannot be moved. RF Calibration; Temperature/humidity instruments. Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches. Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies. This is a 06 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
HS Diploma or equivalent and min. of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/AA/AS Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Electrical background at the component level. read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material. Working knowledge of electronic Theory relating to RF transmission, receivers circuits, analog, and digital circuitry. troubleshoot RF/Digital circuits to the component level. perform calibration of RF circuity and equipment calibration procedures. Test equipment, i.e., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipment solve complex technical problems, analyze faulty circuits J-STD-00, IPC-610
Pay Range: $25.00-30.00 /hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
